Today for my last activity of day 3 I had to ask a family member or a friend what they would be when they grow up or there dream job. I asked my friend Farzana. Her response was to be a doctor. I had to write six things I could do to support her with this job.
Hi Charlize, this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani and I'll be commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I really like the narrative you shared about how you can support others through motivation... what motivates you? Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
ReplyDeleteHi Charlize!,
ReplyDeleteGreat work on completing this SLJ activity and participating in the Summer Learning Journey activities. I have really found your DLO interesting and enjoyable to read. Your 6 supporting ideas are great and could really help Farzana achieve her dream job. What's your dream job?
Great Job!

ReplyDeleteI’m Dani, one of the blog commenters for the Kaikohekohe cluster for the Summer Learning Journey. I have heard some great things about the students at Panmure Bridge School so I thought I would jump on and check out some blog posts.
You sound like a very supportive and caring friend, I think with your help and some hard work, Farzana could be a doctor. I have some friends who have just graduated from university and they are now doctors. I remember during university they had to have an interview to see if their personality matched with being a doctor. I think if Farzana had been working on her polite bedside manner ( the saying which means how a doctor talks to their patients) so would be able to pass the interview no problem! What is your dream job? My dream job is to be a teacher and I am!
As it is the holiday period many of the Summer Learning Journey team are currently away from work and are spending some time with their friends and family. This means that you would get many encouraging comments over this time. We want you to keep blogging and we will comment on as many of your posts as we can when everyone is back at work!
Keep the blogging up!
Blog ya later,
Dani
Hi Charlize!
ReplyDeleteThis activity you did was great. Great job on completing this activity. What was the hardest part of this activity?
Blog you later!

Hi Charlize,
ReplyDeleteI liked how you thought to remind Farzana about completing her paperwork because as annoying as it is to fill out forms it helps the hospital keep track of all its patients, what is wrong with them and how they can get better.
