LI: To identify a planet.
We are learning the sustain of a human life and the elements. We have six elements of life.
Carbon dioxide, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Oxygen, phosphorus, sulphur. This week we are doing the planet Jupiter. On the DLO we had a bunch of questions needed to be answered.
I am a Year 6 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space1 and my teachers are Mr Wong and Mr Ogilive.

Decimal poster
LI: To add and subtract decimals and place value and check using the written algorithm.
Decimals are numbers lower than a solid number but higher than zero. Decimals are use for money. In this DLO it has all the information of what decimals are. We learnt how to use decimals using the place value strategy.
Christmas stolen | Orientation
LI: To write a narrative in the form of a play.
An orientation has describe the settings and the who. This week we are doing the play christmas stolen for Mr Wongs reading groups to perform. We have started on our secound storyboard that links up with the first.

Ki O Rahi | Interschool
LI: To play ki o rahi and to have fun.
Today P.B.S has their inter school ki o rahi games. We got split up into 2 groups for year 4 and 5's .We first played ageist tamaki primary. It was a rough game but sadly we lost 3-9. We played 6 games. We then played against Tu poa and won 12-4.
We then played another game against Tu Poa and lost 10-3. After that we played Stan hope. It was a rough game and won, 13-9. Then we played saint Patrick's.

Drumming
LI: To learn African drumming.
Johnny from Rhythm Interactive taught us four different rhythms on the djembe.
Johnny taught by singing and clapping the rhythm for us to copy. One of the call and return tunes was "I like chocolate cake" and the return was " So do I". Our other rhythm was " I like drums, I like drums, I like drums drums drums.
Johnny's message was " together we can make a change" Today's lesson was enjoyable with the drums. Our learning was really enjoyable to.
