This week I have commented on Liletina's blog post about her reading. In a comment there must include a greeting, connection, question and farewell.

Maths | fractions

 LI: To learn how to find the unit fraction of a set. 

This week for maths we have been making gigantic paper aeroplanes that we have torn out of a book. I am doing a space duster paper plane.We have also been doing more fractions (e.g) Halves and Quarters and using paper to make different ways of making these fractions. 

We also learnt the difference between halves and half.

Maori Week 8

LI: To learn the months and years in Maori.
This week for maori we are learning the months and days in Maori using a google document. There were a bunch of bundling that we had to sort out.

Kiwi Can | Respect

This week for kiwi can we learnt people's differences and how it can effect others. Our theme was respect. Our topic is respect communications. We learnt how to play a game called mirror, followed by another game called "pass and shoot".

Maori | Time in Maori

LI: To learn how to tell the time in Maori.
This week for Maori we are learning how to tell the time. (Example) Kotahi karaka te taima means one o'clock. We used a site  (clock face generator) that helped us find the meaning of these words.

Roald Dahl | Novels

LI: to complete the daily activity.
This week I have completed one of the daily activitys. I had to find 10 words in the book that I would like to know the meaning of and find out and find the meanings of 5. Eg: "Guzzle"  (Eat or drink something greedily) I learned many words and the meanings of them.
