LI: to be a good listener and communicate.
Today we are focusing on our active listing. Means to listen carefully. Our catchphrase is " Kiwi can says talk to me, so you can see, some one with, positivity". For our energiser we played remote control. For this game we had to listen to Mr Alapati and he controls us like a remote. There is 6 commandments slow motion, fast forward, rewind, stop, pause, play. When he calles out a commandment we have to listen carefully and do what he says. This is using our active listening.
Our next activity was chop suey salute. Mr Alapati called out a number from 1-5 and we had to do the action he demonstrated for us.
I am a Year 6 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space1 and my teachers are Mr Wong and Mr Ogilive.

LI: To plan and write a recount.
This week me and my group had to to write a brain storm using a number we picked. Our number was 7 that we picked, we had to write anything that is around that number. Same for everybody else but with a different number. After that we made a individual plan about what we did in the school holidays. We used the structure TREE. T is for title, R is for reveal, E is for events & E is for ending. Recount

Kiwi Can | Week 2
LI: To make positive relationships.
Mr Alapati is our new kiwi can leader for this year and Miss Paige. First we talked
Our catchphrase was "kiwi can says try your best and new give up" and our positive communication catchphrase is "talk to me so you can see someone with positivity". First Mr Alapati gave us time to think of some rules we do in kiwi can sessions.
RULES WE FOLLOW.
- Listing to the teachers
- No talking while the kiwi can leaders are talking.
- Treat people the way you want to be treated
- Be on your best Beauvoir
We follow these rules to have a better life in the future.
Our first energiser was eyes up eyes down. For this first energiser we got into a circle. When Mr Alapati says "eyes down" We had to put our head down. If he says "Eyes up" you look up at someone and if they look at you both are out.Mr Alapati was the referee So he would be looking out for every one to see if they wouldn't cheat.
Our activity was called midnight tunnel. We had to get into 3 groups. My people in my group was Fau & Liletina. Then everybody had to get into a circle. We numbered ourselves 1-3 i was 2. The when Mr Alapati calls out a number that person that numbered there self that number runs around the circle while the other two makes a tunnel for them to go thought and go to the middle before anyone else dose.
