Maths Animations.
LI: to replace bundles of objects with an object representing a certain amount.
This week for maths we had to make a animation showing how to convert or to exchange objects. For my first animation i did tekau objects. For my 2nd animation i did 15. for my last animation i did 24.

Te Huarere
This week we had Maori. Ms. Whaea Ode read us a book about the weathers. We had to search up these places Mt. Everest, Wanaka, Lake Wakatipu, and Tairawhiti. After that we made a slide show about the weathers. We had to write down sentences on our slide that link about to the weathers. And for the photos we had to find a photo raining,sunny and cloudy. Today i worked with juel to get this task done.

Kiwi can | Respect
Today for kiwi can our new topic is Respect. For our first game we had to get into a cirlcle paige had to number us off 1,2,3,4. If she calls a number for an example 1 the people that is one has to run around the circle cloack wise and try and get the ball that is in the middel. We played lots of rounds. We wernt alloweed to dive in or we might hurt each other. Then we talked about what respect is. we talked about respecting our school and envierment. Then we got into groups of 4. We played bus stop. What we had to do for this game is that we had to get a paper and pen and write girl name,boy name,food,animal and colour. If paige gives us a letter we had to try and think of what those topics start with.

Conflict & Resolution
LI: to analyse a story for its conflict and resolution

Maori
This week for maori we learnt more maori history. Fire ode read us a book called remeber the november. This book was about people who were put in jail if they wont give money to the king.
Daily 6
Today for LS1's Daily 6 i did the Additions and subtractions. If you want to see more about LS1's Daily 6 you can meet us on here Daily 6. What you first need is 2 polyhedral dice, a maths book and pen/pencil. You first need to roll your dice and then what ever it comes up with you add them up using your additions and subtractions.

LI: to correct certain structure and language features in a recount. This week for writing my group had to fix the struture of Mr Wong climbing mount Fuji. We had to fix up the verbs and the other words. It first was really messy then we had to fix it up to make it look good.

Bundels of ten
This week for maths we had to bundel groups. We used the Counters,Slavonic abacus,Beans and cups,Sticks and Bands,Tens Frame,Place Value Blocks,Place Value Blocks,Place Value Abacus,Place Value House and Numerals. Numerals is, for an example twelve the number is 12 but the word is twelve. We had to do the same

M.A.I.N
LI:to learn about the M.A.I.N causes of world war 1. This week for inquiry we learnt about the M.A.I.N causes of world war 1. M is Militarism. A is for alliance. I is imperialisem. N is Nationalism. We had a document that had a bunch of words about world war 1. We had to copy and paste one of the boxes into the boxes on the slide.

Kiwi Sport
This week we had a new kiwi sport which was boxing.We first went through the 3 commandments Respect,Discipline,Safety. We had to repeat after pax our coach " I will have respect for myself, my coach, my peers and the sport of boxing" and for the discipline " I will have the discipline to turn up to every boxing session and give my 100% for safety " I will not cause harm to others and only pretice boxing in a safe enivoroment under the guidance of a coach. Then after that we played a game we had to get into partners i was with farzana and we have to try and touch each other knees if the other partner touches our knees then you have to do one burpee. Then we did the same but had to try and touch the other persons shoulders. Then we got straight into putting our gloves on. When we were finshed putting our gloves one we still had our partners and we had to try and line up facing each other. We got taught a rock position was when we had our legs a little bit bigger than shoulder with apart then our right leg gose back. becuase we had to try and stay still like a rock.

Recount test
LI: To quickly write a recount using the correct structure and language features.
This week for writing we hd to write a recount test under 40min. The language features are first person,time connectives. in our recount we had to write about the sky tower trip we had in term 3. Inquiry | Peace
This week for inquiry we have been learning about peace. We learnt about the ww1(world war one) and the countrys that had war with others.We got into groups and we went off and learnt what we got told to. Our group learnt lots about the triple Entente. Then after that we could do everything else with our own partner. Then when we were finshed that we could do the time line witch country first had war and last. My partner was sakina.

Bundling sticks
This week we are bundling sticks. Bundling means a group of somthing. We used Maori numbers because it is much easier. We made a group of 12,14,16,17,30,45,78,64,100. We also had to make up our own numbers to. Mr wong showed us an example for the first two and then we carried on the rest.

Conflict and resolution
This week we have been doing Conflict and resolution. Conflict is a disagreement,Fight, or an argument. A resolution is solving that problem. Today we wrote a conflict disagreement about a story called Sparks. This story is about a 2 brothers who fight over a scooter.

Kiwi Can | Respect
Today our new theme is respect. Respect included following rules. Our topic is respecting our school. our first game we played was rules Vs No rules. For this game we played tag and we could tag anyone with no rules. Then we played with rules we got 2 tagers and they have to tag us with the noddels. Then we played another game and that game is when someone has to go up and try and act somthing out in frount of everybody. We had a new kiwi can leader and her name was miss paige. Then we talked more about respect in our school. Then after that we had a master game. Master is when we had to get into a big circle and one person has to go around everyone and the kiwi can ask a question wins and moves on. And the person who went around wins and the master was Lukah.
