MOTAT Trip
MOTAT means museum of transport and technology. Panmure bridge Senior school went to the Motat museum. We met wonderful people that where guiding us and helping us at our trip. There names where Emma, D & Kenza.
We first started off with getting into our groups with our parents. We went to explore the museum. It had lots of wonderful artifacts of the 1800's and 1900's and had lots of vehicles, Work shops (print shops) , Technology Ect.
After that we had a rotation. Making electronic cars and lights. Our first rotation with the year 5's was making cars. For this activity we used cardboard for the body, motor, tape, scissors, wheels and axle. Our goal was to try and make the fastest car and the idea was trying to make it light. Some people had succeed.
We used collaboration with these two activities.
After we finished making cars we moved on to making lights with Emma. We used the LED ( Light emitting diode) , motor, cogs, base, stoppers.
